Job Description

 


The Web UX Lead will serve as the lead owner of user experience design and functionality on websites, and other digital assets. In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing visual branding and GUI design based on current corporate and product design standards.   Develop and maintain online UX Design / Pattern Library, working with multiple areas to translate existing requirements into online design system management tool, preferably Figma and Invision.  The Web UX Lead will both develop and act as an admin to external users accessing the design management system.

The Web UX Lead will serve as an integral channel for communication between the product team, developers, and designers regarding all design elements of Teva's multi-channel marketing efforts.

 


ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Lead the design experience of the multi-channel marketing team with both high standards and deep insights, ensuring marketing and business requirements align with user research, development, IT, regulatory, privacy, creative agencies, etc.
  • Author and evolve UX Pattern/Design library, accessibility guidance, and other best practice rules for web and mobile. 
  • Develop and maintain online UX Design / Pattern Library, working with multiple areas to translate existing requirements onto online design system management tool, preferably Figma or Invision.  This role will be responsible for developing components for the DSM and managing the ongoing evolution of this platform, maintain user accounts and work to onboard agencies to use the centralized tool.
  • Collaborate on the development, discovery, information gathering, testing, and evolution of design standards, user tools and product experiences;
  • Develop strategic recommendations and design artifacts, such as wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and storyboards;
  • Understanding each of our marketing products and business model, including how they fit into our larger portfolio/ecosystem; and the ability to communicate the rationale behind design decisions for each product;
  • Close contact and collaboration with front- and back-end developers departments in bringing products to launch (and enough development savvy to understand how design impacts how the end product will be built);
  • Participate in long term planning and company growth activities, developing design requirements specifications, quality assurance plans, plus more generalized consulting around design thinking across teams and designing for flexibility, ease to scale, usability, and integration with CRM, ERP, and CMS systems.
  • The Web UX Lead will provide visual branding and GUI design based on user criteria/feedback and develop intuitive interactions across touchpoints. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Web/Channel management, the UX Manager will serve as the primary channel for communication between the product team, developers, and designers regarding all design elements of our product line.

 

Qualifications

 

 

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Understanding of the software application development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development with active participation on sprint calls and reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interactive design, human computer interaction, or front end development; alternatively, 4 years of documented equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive hands-on development experience with the application Figma.
  • Must have extensive experience in creating components to spec within a design management system, preferably Figma and/or Invision DSM. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure and other design tools.
  • Laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization, OKRs or KPIs, research methods, usability testing, focus groups, and requirements gathering.
