Job Summary

Objectives
1. To train an interprofessional team of investigators in precision medicine and precision medicine translational research.
2. To establish a research collaboration and activate a MCC ongoing prospective cohort study to assess precision medicine outcomes at Manipal.
3. To develop investigator initiated joint research projects related to cancer precision medicine between Manipal and MCC.

Anticipated Results
The deliverables include that the trainees complete the required training materials (skills development activities, develop mentored research projects, activate a MCC sponsored prospective cohort at Manipal, activate mentored research projects at TATA and complete the mentored research projects at Manipal). The long term results will include a sustained collaboration between the institutions, the trainees will become cancer precision medicine mentors to the next generation of trainees and an active precision medicine program will be implemented at Manipal.
