SAIC is seeking an experienced User Experience and Innovation Manager (UEIM) to ensure sustained quality service delivery and customer satisfaction on a highly visible Information Technology Services contract within an HHS OPDIV. The program includes provisioning and support for user equipment, end user technical support, applications support, information security, conference room support, and other services directly impacting end user satisfaction.

The UEIM will work independently and collaborate with CMS’ leadership and end-users, systems engineers, and vendors to ensure a quality end-user experience is sustained. The UEIM will analyze service desk tickets and other data points to identify opportunities for continual improvements. This manager will innovatively coordinate with CMS stakeholders to continually gather information and feedback that will be relevant for improvements and work effectively with the program’s CTO to design a roadmap for implementation. He or she will seek to incorporate automation and real-time reporting as applicable.


- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience working in the Information Technology Services field

- Good written and oral communications skills

- Experience working independently and collaboratively across multiple design teams composed of business groups, developers, testers, government system engineers, and service technicians.

- Demonstrated relevant experience managing IT projects, gathering requirements, and collaboratively designing effective solutions

- Ability to quickly conceptualize and communicate alternatives for user interfaces based on requirements and their intent

- Experience with the system engineering process and requirements management and documentation


- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT consultative role(s)

- Experienced in Design Thinking Methodologies

- Experience working with Agile Scrum teams and developing user stories

- Good negotiation skills
