Job Summary | The SURES (Summer Undergraduate Research in Environmental Sciences) program is a 10-week research-intensive program designed to prepare rising juniors and seniors for careers in environmental health sciences. Working with Drs. Swanson and Pearson, this individual will organize all scientific and social events and activities, coordinate with Dr. Swanson in leading weekly activities, provide support for the near-peer mentors, serve as the communication hub for all participants, contribute to the weekly blog, ensure that all participants have completed Linked In profiles, and assist with post-program tracking of participants. In addition, this individual will work with Dr. Swanson to design and implement novel pedagogical approaches to be used in the program and assist in preparing manuscripts for publication. |
