POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Management Consultant assists with planning and executing talent management infrastructure, framework, and strategies across the health system. This position is involved in the assessment and development of employees through the execution of talent programs. This position will identify talent and development gaps, research possible solutions, solicit feedback, and make recommendations for new or improved programs to support the organization. Once recommendations are approved, the Talent Management Consultant will assemble a team to plan and execute the implementations. This position will also be responsible for the ongoing coordination and administration of various talent management programs.
Through associations with professional organizations and outside research, this position remains current on human resources and organizational development topics and trends and seeks out opportunities to integrate innovative practices with the organization's goals and direction.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required. Position requires well-developed research, presentation, and influencing skills. Experience with various talent management functions (education, development, performance, talent acquisition, succession, etc) strongly preferred.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
This position demonstrates the competencies, as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires desk/computer work in a sitting capacity. This position also requires increased amounts of repetitive motion with regard to typing. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool

This position reports to department leadership.
