SUMMARY: Provide a wide range of technical services in the areas of computer hardware, software, and networking. Administers, monitors, configures infrastructure servers, business and network operations. Provides suggestions and recommendations for new technology solutions to meet business requirements. Work with management to implement applications and technology solutions. Outstanding customer service and communication skills are required to support Dutra employees across the country. 


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties as may be assigned.

Desktop and Mobile (iOS and Android) Support


Server Deployment


Storage Management


Technology & Infrastructure (VMWare, MSSQL, UCS, Meraki)


Application Management


Relationship Management


Network Management (LAN, WAN, WLAN) & shipboard connectivity


Incident Management (Help Desk), Incident Response Plan


Business continuity/ disaster recovery


Proactive Cybersecurity measures, Microsoft security score, security hardening, security baseline policy, endpoint management, EDR/MDR/XDR


Audio Visual Services


Compliance & Security Standards: NIST SP 800-171A, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, Payment Card Industry (PCI) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).


 


COMPETENCIES:


 


Strong customer service orientation


Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


Proven and hands-on experience with Windows server operating systems


Proven experience with Azure Admin Portal, Azure Active Directory, and Single Sign On advanced hands-on 


Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems


Zoom VOIP, Linux OS knowledge a plus


Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and software/patch management, best security practices


VMWare virtualization and Network Attached Storage technologies


Data Backup/Recovery/ data retention experience and knowledge


Microsoft Office 365 and cloud services including SharePoint, Intune mobile device management/ mobile application management


Ability to conduct research into system issues and products


Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities


Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment


Database administration/SQL (creating, maintaining, SQL queries), a plus


Migration of a local Active Directory SQL server to Azure Active Directory, changing IP address and connection strings without breaking important database connections, a plus.


 


QUALIFICATIONS: 


 


Education/Experience: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or CIS preferred; 3 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Work and/or educational background in engineering would be a plus.


Computer Skills: to perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced technical knowledge, skills, and experience. Preferred certifications: Azure Fundamentals, CCNP, MCSA, Network+, Security+, VCP.


Physical Presence:  Regular and predictable physical presence in the corporate office is an essential qualification for this position due to the importance of aggressive timeframes under which the employee will operate, hands-on help ticket resolution, and the need for face-to-face interaction with managers and employees in all departments in order to properly perform job-related functions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  This job has some supervisory responsibilities. Day-to-day work direction of Desktop Support/IT Admin position.

PAY RANGE (DOE): $100,000 - $120,000 per year.

Dutra obtains the categories of PI listed below during the job application process, employee onboarding process, the selection of benefits as an employee, and ongoing employment. In some cases, Dutra may obtain a background check once an offer of employment is made.

Dutra does not sell or disclose PI of job applicants and employees to any third parties, unless required to do so by law.

Dutra collects the following categories of PI for job applicants and employees:

Personal identifiers provided in job application process, on-boarding process, and benefit selection process. The purpose of this information is to make employment decisions, verify work authorization status, manage the employment relationship with Dutra, and facilitate employment administration, processing, and maintenance, such as providing benefits to employees and their beneficiaries, processing payroll, and general office administration.

Financial information. The purpose of this information is to administer payroll and benefits, process work-related claims, and facilitate all related accounting and auditing.

Certain classification and diversity information, such as veteran or military status, age, race, color, national origin, citizenship, marital status, physical or mental

Personal and work history information provided in application process, and occasionally via a background check. Daily health status information directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This information is collected upon a visit to any Dutra office or worksite. The information includes the date of office visits, the time of the visit, whether the visitor has obtained a COVID-19 daily check-in health badge, and whether the visitor has passed a temperature screening. The Company may sometimes require an employee or worksite visitor to take a COVID-19 rapid test prior to entering a Company worksite. The purpose of this information is to keep all Company locations as safe as possible and to protect the health of Company employees, their families, and all others that visit the Companys worksites.

Further Notice Regarding Collection of Personal Information

The Company continues to evaluate its practices and records in relation to the CCPA to ensure compliance with all requirements.
