Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Summary:
The Systems Analysts position is a multifaceted role encompassing business and systems analysis, support for various processes and technologies, and overseeing projects of varying size and complexity. This position requires strong customer service, leadership and analytical skills, along with technical aptitude and a keen attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
- Build and maintain relationships with departments across the College; partnering with them to help identify, assess and prioritize their needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and analyze current state processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement using this discovery to help define goals, objectives and the overall scope of projects.
- Identify and evaluate solution alternatives, define process flows, develop solution business requirements, develop solution technical requirements and integration specifications, and prepare business cases taking into consideration user experience, compliance, return on investment, system capabilities and constraints, and other business drivers.
- Develop project plans/schedules (independently or in partnership with a Project Manager), monitor team progress, communicate updates, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live readiness activities, and serve as a liaison with technical and vendor teams for issue resolution.
- Use analytics, customer feedback and other measures to monitor the effectiveness of processes and solutions and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide analytical and technical support for various departmental and enterprise systems, including the Colleges ERP, SIS, LMS, CRM, CMS and Document Management solutions, among others.
- Administer frequent meetings with vendors and colleagues at all levels of the organization, leveraging various technologies to effectively collaborate with in-person and remote participants.
- Continually develop soft and technical skills through personal initiative and various training opportunities. Maintain a working knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and product roadmaps to help identify risks and opportunities that should be considered.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, or relevant/comparable experience
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma and similar
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education
- Two or more years of experience with business or systems analysis
- Knowledge of data integration mapping, SQL queries and data analysis
Special Requirements (if any): Occasional evening, weekend and on-call work is required to support organizational initiatives, system maintenance and to remediate service disruptions.
