Location: On-site in Syracuse, NY

Role Summary

As a Marketing Intern, you will receive support and training to develop valuable, hands-on Marketing experience, guided by our industry-leading Marketing team members. You will collaborate on and contribute to the team-wide efforts to grow our client base and protect life and property while also gaining exposure to additional business areas within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to marketing business development efforts
• Facilitate new business growth by connecting with existing customers and sharing new products
• Compile and coordinate informational packages for prospective customers
• Contribute to branding and advertising projects
• Identify new business opportunities through research on social media
• Analyze industry websites, publications, and newsletters
• Engage in department meetings to present on weekly activities and accomplishments
• Participate in and provide support to special projects in the Marketing department
• Contribute to activities to support the Sales team, as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Current rising-Junior or rising-Senior enrollment in a four-year collegiate degree program in graphic design, marketing, business, communications, or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A dynamic combination of strategic, analytical, and creative skills
• Reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, sales and/or marketing
• Bilingual or Spanish speaking ability

COVID-19 Requirements

• Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
• Booster shot is required 2 months after Johnson & Johnson or 5 months after second dose of Pfizer/Moderna
