Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position.

  • In this position, you will provide support for clients of varying levels of care. Some of our clients need assistance with in-home and personal care (such as bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.) while other clients are solely looking for a mentor to help them build strong community and social skills (such as learning budgeting, safety, meeting new people, etc.). We work hard to promote successful matches between our staff and clients based on skill and comfort level.
  • Hourly rate will depend on education, experience and level of care required for our client.
  • Part and Full-Time positions are available.
  • No experience is required however, we are looking for applicants who are strong communicators, timely to shifts and possess genuine care and compassion for the population we serve.
  • We offer paid training and mileage reimbursement.
  • We require all staff to possess to a valid drivers license, maintain active and valid auto insurance, drive a reliable vehicle, and have the ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Our agency hosts quarterly parties, provides community activities and a variety of opportunities for staff to participate in with their clients.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Mentors must also possess a valid drivers license, have and maintain active, current and valid auto insurance and transportation, and have the ability to pass background checks, including drug testing, and the availability to attend training.
