Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position.

We are looking for someone to work with our 19 year old son with severe mental disability. We would like someone who can commit at least three times a week for about 3 hours each time to train him with various self-care skills, e.g. toileting, dressing, communication, safety skills, and managing behaviors. Need to be able to briefly lift about 100lbs as he needs assistance with transferring.

Available working hours are 5:30pm-9pm weeknights, afternoons and evenings on weekends, and during school breaks.

Applicants will be required to go through state background checks, and child abuse and neglect checks. Applicants will be required to submit a resume with a cover letter describing your experience working with special needs children or adults.
