Job Summary | The REFOCUS recruiter will work under the direction of the Research Coordinator to identify and pre-screen possible candidates for their eligibility to participate in the REFOCUS research study. The primary responsibility of the Recruiter will be to pass out flyers in locations that the research team has identified as areas most frequented by African American substance users and to talk to member of the community about the research study. This position is based out of Lexington, KY. Requires strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with potential participants and develop partnerships with local businesses and community leaders. ____________________________________________ The University of Kentucky considers the health, safety and well-being of our entire community to be a top priority.
