Job Summary | Under the supervision of a Disability Resource Consultant (DRC) Accommodations Consultant, the Disability Outreach Specialist will support the DRC in a variety of operations both during and outside of the academic year. This is a hybrid work position. Responsibilities are as follows: Alternate Text Production Assistant- During the academic year, the employee will receive and process requests for alternate text services, including requesting books through established procedures, converting books to accessible materials, and answering student questions about the process. Outreach- The employee will be responsible for representing the DRC at outreach events including orientation, Merit Days, Accepted Student Days, and other events. The employee will also be responsible for updating and modernizing outreach materials. |
