Physical Requirements | - Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a computer utilizing two monitors - Perform data entry while talking to a caller by phone - Must be able to walk 2 miles - Must be able to push, lift and carry 50 lbs. - Must be able to ascend/descend/work from ladders of 12 feet in height |
Shift | This position typically works Mon-Fri from 7:30AM to 3:30PM, with occasional afternoon, evenings or weekends as needed. 35 hours per week. |
Job Summary | This position will primarily provide telephone technical support to users within campus classrooms with classroom technology, including audiovisual systems, computers, etc., while entering information into a Help Desk Software. If the issues cannot be resolved remotely, then this position will dispatch appropriate technical support staff to assist on-site. This position will monitor through various technologies and the Help Desk software queue and email, addressing requests while ensuring system readiness. This position may be called upon to assist customers and technicians in the field. This position will work in a fast-paced support office, occasionally in front of large audiences, and under time constraints. If working over 30 hours per week, this position may be eligible for health benefits – medical/dental/vision plans!
