Role Summary:Responsible for the Technical Product Owner role for the Systems & Integration Test team as well as the Reliability Test team of the Edison HealthLink platform. Owns and maintains the product backlog items, and works closely with the key stakeholders to define the right prioritization to meet the end user objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:Connect regularly with product management, application specialists, modality teams, usability experts, architects, scrum teams and other stakeholders who have a solid understanding of the users, needs and expectation around functionality and reliability of Edison

Have a good understanding of the testing and test automation domain, tools and relevant industry practices

Be able to clearly articulate the business needs and influence upwards and downwards

Clearly define the product backlog items in product backlog management tools

Prioritize the product backlog items to best achieve business goals and missions

Ensure the development team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed to execute

Assists with the elaboration of epics, themes and features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint<

Planning, prioritizing for multiple parallel programs with Business Partners and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action

Involve functional expertise in design reviews and key decisions as well as risk strategies

Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface problems within the project

Stay hands-on for handling day to day tactical challenges for the development team. participates in the daily scrums, sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings

Inspect the progress at the end of every sprint and accept or reject work products

Manage communications with all stakeholders

Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects

Manage risks to the program's successful outcome

Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the field of software development and testing, with at least 5 years in test automation

Strong experience building automated test scripts using Selenium, Squish, QTP, Cucumber, Python etc.

Proficiency in tools like Performance Centre, Quality Centre, Test Director, Load Runner, JMeter, etc.

Strong understanding in both backend and frontend automation

Excellent communication skills

Desired Characteristics:Good working knowledge of distributed solutions using following technologies

Service Oriented Architecture, MicroSerivces

Frameworks and API paradigm such as Spring, REST, OSGi

High passion and energy and the ability to influence and energize others

Positive attitude to explore, drive and passionate in excelling on the technology goals

Basic understanding of software reliability and reliability testing
