Scum Master



Scrum Master will coordinate and coach our services team members and coordinate with product owner. The successful candidate will be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Ultimately, youll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints. Scrum Master experience and skills You should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. Youll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables.

**Roles and Responsibilities**



+ Define the priorities in consultation with Project Manager and Product Owner. Manage the resources budget and timeline and ensure the resources are available to complete the project within budget and on time to meet customer obligations

+ Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups

+ Coach team members in Agile frameworks

+ Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration

+ Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)

+ Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests

+ Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

+ Help teams implement changes effectively

+ Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint

+ Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity

+ Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it

+ Ensure projects OTD (On Time Delivery) while also continuously striving to improve projects TTV (Time to Value).

+ Professionally represent GE during all customer communications



**Required Qualifications**



+ This role requires experience in the Services & Digital Project Management.

+ Knowledge level is comparable to a masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).



**Desired Characteristics**



+ Experience in a scrum master role

+ Familiarity with software development

+ Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

+ Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)

+ Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

+ Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

+ Outstanding organizational skills

+ Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field

+ Scrum master certification is a plus

+ **Familiar with ADMS, AEMS, MMS or GIS software products (GE software is a plus)**

+ Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately and effectively manage project resources. Ability to effectively coordinate with other managers and senior level staff including sales, marketing, project delivery, and product leads.

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures. Ability to make formal and informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff and customers.

+ Proven sound negotiation and conflict management skills
