**Job Description Summary**
Stress Analyst position is related with responsibility for executing activities associated with Finite Element stress analysis tasks. It gives great opportunity to grow and increase expertise in top notch technology, execute tasks related to multiple hardware commodities. **Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Execution of the Finite Element Analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and analysis tools/methods adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering analysis for all products
+ Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
+ Support formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules
+ Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
+ Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
+ Participate in the organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
+ Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews
+ Should network & establish strong connections with Commodity Controlled Title Holders (CTHs, Cross functions teams to achieve the desired outcomes)
+ Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behaviour with a proactive example of communication internally and externally
+ Leverage digital tools & analyse the data insights to drive appropriate actions
+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
**Required Qualifications**
+ PhD / MTech / MS / BE from an accredited university or college in Mechanical, Aerospace, or closely related field of Engineering
+ 15-20 years of experience in a relevant engineering role with mechanical design and analysis of gas turbine components
+ In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
+ Ability to apply Geometry, Finite Element and optimization methods for design evaluation
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Familiarization with modeling and finite element analysis tools like NX, ANSYS, Hypermesh
+ Good oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills.
+ Product knowledge about Aircraft engines or Gas turbine
+ Prior experience of solving problems through design trade studies and optimization
+ Awareness of Lean/Six-sigma methodologies
