As part of GEs IT Identity & Access Management team, this individual will contribute to the definition and implementation of the next generation of Identity & Access Management tools and policies across GE.



This individual will be responsible for designing and building new technology solutions for the Identity Management service which includes new functionality, software fixes, automation, and business application integrations.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

+ Work with architects and development teams to design and implement innovative solutions to complicated identity management problems including but not limited to Role Based Access Control, Attribute Access Control, Segregation of Duties, Identity Analytics, Predictive provisioning, etc.

+ Identify new technologies and solutions to accomplish to-be functionality required for the next generation of Identity & Access management at GE

+ Evaluate leading technology inside and outside the Identity and Access Management space which can simplify, reduce cost, reduce risk, enhance end user experience, etc. across GE

+ Provide inputs to the current Identity & Access management risk assessment and identify potential gaps in the existing solutions

+ Suggest innovative approaches to mitigate existing risks in the Identity & Access management space

+ Define use cases related to the consumption of Identity & Access management services

+ Define and operationalize IT Risk & Security strategy & policies for Identity & Access Management









Qualifications/Requirements :

+ A Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 8 years of professional experience or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 12 years of relevant experience.

+ A minimum of 4 years working in Sailpoint IdentityIQ and / or related IDM platforms (Saviynt, Oracle, Waveset, etc.)

+ Candidates should be within a commutable distance to a GE office location in the US. Preferred location is Cincinnati OH, but also encourage applicants in Richmond, VA; Atlanta, GA and Detroit, MI locations.









Desired Characteristics :

Technical Expertise:

+ Experience with Identity & Access Management technologies (SailPoint IdentityIQ, Oracle Identity Analytics, Savyint, etc.)

+ Experience with reading / writing code in an object oriented programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.)

+ Experience with web services (JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.)

+ Proficient in writing SQL and PL/SQL as well as understanding of relational databases

+ Commitment to advocating for solid development practices, (Source control, CI / CD, automated infrastructure, etc.)

+ Understanding of available AWS services and how they can be leveraged across Identity & Access Management

+ Experience in Security or Compliance and working in IT audit or compliance

+ Strong planning & project management skills











Business Acumen:

+ Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical communities

+ Experience working in an environment with export control requirements, SOX requirements, FDA requirements, etc.

+ Big 4, accounting, consulting, or CISA / CISM certification











Leadership:

+ Proven ability to coordinate and influence large groups

+ Strong team player -collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

+ Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions

+ Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise

+ Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives

+ Makes data driven decision to resolve business problems
