Description **Job Description:**



The role will form part of the Model Standards and Oversight (MSO) function within Global Risk Analytics (GRA).



The successful candidate will define and expand GRA’s model development standards and a quantitative control framework designed to oversee adherence to the standards.



This role presents an opportunity to engage in GRA’s broad range of activities. It demands a highly varied skill set, including quantitative, analytical, organizational, communication and technology capabilities.



Key tasks include the following:



+ Identify and define GRA’s process inventory, standards and related quantitative controls

+ Address GRA model control points where standards and oversight need establishing, improving or implementing

+ Collaborate with key partners outside of GRA, such as Model Risk Management, Audit and Technology, to align strategies

+ Influence development and application of the tools and routines necessary for effective model development, oversight and reporting

+ Use a broad range of media to communicate GRA’s standards and controls to senior leaders and to the group as a whole **Required Skills**



+ Eight or more years of industry experience with an understanding in modeling, data and technical challenges in sufficient detail to engage in dialogue with model development teams and technical partners

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Ability to multitask and deliver to tight deadlines

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Desired Skills**



+ Ability to apply Excel, VBA, LaTeX and SDLC tools such as JIRAEnterprise Role Overview:Responsible for performing data management, complex analysis, and modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Provides data / IM, analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of databases, performance reports for senior mgt. Manages the review and analysis of trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Directs the development of more complex databases, program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Oversees the data design, analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Integrates the analysis team with other corporate units to insure alignment of analysis with business strategies and objectives. Responsible for hiring and training Risk Analysis Specialist and Risk Analysis Analyst. PhD, Master's degree, or large data experience preferred; Programming experience like SQL, SAS preferred; 7+ years experience.
