JOB TITLE: SSD Sr. Product Marketing Manager

LOCATION: San Jose, CA, USA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of certain Enterprise SSD product lines and related market segments for North America
  • Build/Drive customer/account, market segment, product, & go to market strategies for enterprise SSD
  • Market AnalysisTrack & analyze market trends & key customer trends, collect, collect and analyze/forecast customer and segment SSD TAM
  • Strategic Analysis, Marketing strategy, & competitive analysis
  • Work closely with technical and sales teams to drive new design wins and enable sales
  • Create marketing collateral and presentations, Provide sales and customer training
  • Industry collaboration & evangelization of Samsung SSD products
  • Work with technical teams on future products and technologies to build business case, positioning, and go to market plans

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree required (EE, CS preferred, MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years experience in strategic or product marketing in NAND Flash, SSD or related industry
  • In depth understanding of NAND Flash & SSD products, trends, pricing, and markets, especially enterprise/datacenter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are must, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability
  • Strong analytical skills, Ability to grasp complex financial, technical, and marketing information to develop strategies
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones
  • High enthusiasm, drive, and energy to execute strategies, champion new business opportunities, and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Moderate domestic travel required (~20%, post-pandemic once travel can be done safely)
