Sr EHS Manager - NAM Digital Services

Role Summary:Reporting to the NAM Services Leader, the successful candidate will lead EHS services for the NAM region for the Digital Services wind business within Renewable Energy. The candidate will partner with the Service EHS leader to drive consistency in execution, manage risk reduction and foster productive customer, industry and contractor relationships.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of human performance in relation to EHS and be able to coach the regional operational team though the Vision Safe transformation;

+ Form strategic partnerships with contracting partners and customers to ensure we deliver as one team in the region;

+ Be part of the regional services leadership team and partner to develop and execute an action plan to deliver the EHS transformation as well as manage daily operational needs;

+ Ensure all NAM service operations are carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory and GE requirements;

+ Assess gaps and prioritize improvement opportunities by embracing lean problem solving, genba and kaizen into the way we work;

+ Partner with the technical training team and Services Engineering to ensure continuous improvement in design, training and competence management;

+ Develop NAM EHS team to ensure adequate resources in required locations with skills and experience to support workload;

+ Drive increased use of Digital Programs and tools across NAM;

+ Ensure all internal and external EHS reporting is completed on time and with accuracy;

+ Manage service auditing planning and roll up regional reporting and data analytics.

+ Establish and develop networks with business stakeholders, contractors and customers providing a world class EHS management system. Learn from incidents/accidents within GE Renewable to secure improved operational excellence.

+ Continuous improvement: Planning, initiative and coordination of continuous improvement. Initiating best practice sharing

+ Visible ownership and sustained progress in the Vision Safe EHS cultural transformation


+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS - Regional Operations.
