**Job Description Summary**
The Sr Director-Cyber Security Protection Services will be part of a dynamic, growing team providing security solutions enabling security services globally across the GE Company. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and driving effective technology solutions to support the cyber defense of GE; focusing on continuous improvement, data protection, governance, risk management and mitigation.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will:
Continue to develop the strategy for GE cybersecurity solutions globally to ensure the team is delivering on business risk outcomes.
Lead global teams and manage a portfolio of IT risk programs across the global business
Align with cross functional teams to define & implement data protection and governance processes and technologies
Lead application security solutions, data protection solutions, endpoint solutions, data loss prevention solutions, network security solutions, cloud security solutions, infrastructure security solutions, application security and defense in depth security solutions
Lead deployments around critical scenarios of potential data loss for endpoint, network, data at-rest and virtual environments
Evaluate and apply emerging technologies to meet complex, tactical needs
Secure GE information and assets, and ensure ongoing compliance with global regulatory, contractual and corporate policy requirements
Work as a business partner with GE Business Risk Leaders and end users to evaluate /improve business processes, and arrive at mutual, budget-conscious, solutions; act as a change agent for business processes.
Lead a high functioning team dedicated to developing and designing innovative solutions to exceed stakeholder requirements and enhance GE's compliance and governance capabilities
Be accountable for operational excellence of program delivery, with duties including; project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution, and closure for all project work related to IT Security & Governance programs
Maintain effective working relationships with peers, functional partners, GE Business Leaders, and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization
Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies, and recommend funding and resources
Leadership role responsible for the selection, development, coaching, performance management and compensation administration of a staff of service technicians and engineers
Lead solution planning and estimating of programs and projects; manages budgets and contracts
-Share technical, procedural, and business knowledge with others.
Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture.
**Education Qualification**
Bachelors degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Experience with project management and execution of multiple simultaneous and / or large projects Agile, Fastworks, LEAN or Six Sigma experience
