In this pivotal role, you will continually assess the business needs, the financials, and the service provider markets to determine the best options and sources of supply for the organization as follows:

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution of sourcing and category initiatives, which include aligning business requirements with internal stakeholders, conducting RFPs, negotiating agreements and commercial terms, drafting deal summaries for executive approval, and reporting on validated cost savings for tracking against departmental KPIs.
  • Identify, execute on, and capture cost savings within our overall spend base with a focus on the urgency to pull cost out of operations immediately in 2023.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends that have an impact on the sourcing strategy, through good working relationships with existing and potential third parties.
  • Present and update all pertinent supplier and/or industry trends to stakeholders and immediate management and propose improvements to existing strategies.
  • Engage with the business to understand business drivers, risk appetite, and environmental factors that will influence the development and maintenance of the sourcing strategy.
  • Develop the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes with senior leadership and ensure that effective processes and communication channels are in place to maximize the delivery and implementation of any sourcing activities.

Role Requirements

  • Education in business or other management disciplines, such as supply chain management or equivalent skills are required.
  • Five+ years of experience in sourcing and/or procurement and/or vendor management
  • Execute work efficiently and with transparency with a high degree of individual problem-solving skills to deliver high-value outcomes with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Experience leading key negotiations and large-scale or enterprise sourcing activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a well-conceptualized, -socialized, and -executed sourcing strategy.
  • Professional presence and comfort interacting with both internal and external senior leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills at all levels.
  • Collaborative and oriented to internal customer service.

Salary

The on-target earnings range is $99,705.00 - $175,720.00 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
