Better starts and ends with the customer

Youll work with engineering and business partners to define and build out complex solutions as you drive value through business process simplification, automation, new product capabilities, and innovations. Youll assess the business needs while providing creative and effective solutions and lead system design and implementation. You will be seen as a subject matter expert for our next generation of payments platforms and collaborate with peer and cross-functional teams across the globe. You will ensure your work emphasizes the customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development. You will be the champion ensuring this culture is embedded into the team and across the company.

For this role, you will need to hold an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field. Education or equivalent work experience is required. You must have an extensive experience having worked in the same or similar field and have hands-on experience in Java or .net. You must have an understanding of enterprise architecture and transactional data and be familiar with integrating into different platforms both internally and externally. Having experience with cloud applications is required, and you would ideally be AWS architect certified. Beyond the technical skills, you will need to be an exceptional communicator with the ability to engage and work with teams and senior stakeholders across the globe. You will need to demonstrate you have an enterprise mindset, be customer-centric in your approach, and a strong problem solver.

The annual gross base salary range is $95,000 160,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
