Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

sitting/standing for extended periods of time

Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The Ambulatory LCSW will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team to provide therapy and social services to patients and families within the outpatient setting. This will include completing and documenting psychosocial assessments to determine the needs of the patient, providing direct behavioral health counseling for patients with mental health illness and/or psycho-social stressors, providing direct counseling and education to patients and families regarding their eligibility for resources and services in the community, and formulating and implementing outpatient plans with the rest of the multidisciplinary patient team.

This position will be remote, with possibly an occasional need to come to campus.

This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
