**Job Description Summary**

The Sr Director Program Management is responsible for the delivery of highly complex cross disciplined programs that span multiple organizations, various stakeholders (ex: within GE, customer production support and operations and partners). S/he will be responsible for defining and executing programs, and tracking and monitoring key metrics to ensure milestones are met on time and on budget.

**Job Description**

The Separation Workstream Technical Leader Digital Workplace will report to the EnergyCo DT Separation Leader. The Separation Workstream Technical Leader Digital Workload will provide leadership on the architecture and design for the DT solutions as related to assigned products with regard to the EnergyCo Business units separation from GE Corporate.

Primarily responsible for architecture and design of the platforms and associated ecosystems required by the GE businesses as they separate. Role involves leading, consulting or overseeing multiple architecture engagements as a technical expert while working lock-in step with the EnergyCo and the Separation Workstream PMO leader, Technical Project Managers and business stakeholders

**Essential Responsibilities**

+ Understand existing workloads and landscape, evaluate options and define the To Be Workload strategies for the Energy future business(es) across Cloud, Hosting, Datacenter, Storage and Compute strategies

+ Envision, lead and program manage the journey to the To Be state for our workloads including leveraging potential Modernization opportunities, and driving down obsolescence and Cyber risk,

+ Coordinate the assigned product technology and business discussions relative to architecture direction to support the separation requirements.

+ Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state. Own the design deliverables for assigned area of work.

+ Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g. Infrastructure, Cyber, Sourcing & Contracts, etc.)) and make sure their design contributions meet system architecture requirements.

+ Engage throughout the entire lifecycle on projects and provide feedback on architecture, design, and functionality while working closely with team members.

+ Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.

+ Closely align to the Separation Workstream PMO Leader to ensure that projects meet all Separation PMO standards.

+ Coach Technical Project Managers and provide feedback on their performance and improvement opportunities.


+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

+ Minimum 10+ years of experience

+ Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship management ability.

+ Proven analytical and strong problem-solving skills - effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.

+ Strong presentation and communication skills. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, customers, and leadership.

+ Influences and energizes others toward the common vision and goal.

+ Ability to work well with multiple vendors and businesses during any separation project implementation.

+ Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions.

+ Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.

+ Experience working with others on a global basis.

+ Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others.
