Job Description

As Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for partnering with the Firms Advisors who support the Firms clients and for managing and developing the Client Service and Operations Teams. The Senior Vice President will take the lead on new and ongoing projects within the company, as well work to improve processes and procedures as the firm continues to grow.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with the firms custodians and internal Client Service and Operations teams to ensure requests are processed and handled accurately and timely
  • Direct management of Client Service Associate managers and Operations managers
  • Responsible for development of Associates/Analysts including career progression, performance management, mentoring and coaching
  • Vendor management including BARS, Strata, Addepar and Blaze
  • Oversee Salesforce (workflow creation, metrics, adoption, etc.)
  • Project management including development, assembly, and execution of projects and workflows
  • Focus on continually improving operational efficiencies and controls through our existing tech stack, and work on new product development and enhancements including evaluating new or alternative technologies to improve workflow and product offering
  • Monitor escalation items for clients and advisors, and research and respond accordingly
  • Oversee tax document collection, organization and timely disbursement. Continually review process to enhance and scale
  • Oversee and manage processes around cash and security movements such as deposits, withdraws, gifting, wires, and journals
  • Assist with presentations and proposals using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Oversee quarterly billing process. Analyze and review billing for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues with outside performance reporting vendor
  • Efficiently and clearly communicate with senior management and provide relevant updates
  • Advise Operations managers on team capacity and allocation of client work
  • Recruit and interview new employees for operations and client service roles as needed
  • Oversee development training plans for new associates

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years experience within financial services with extensive management experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Project management expertise
  • Solutions oriented professional with client service experience
  • Ability to prioritize, be exceptionally organized, and have extreme attention to detail
  • Analytical skills and experience with systems relating to performance reporting and client relationship management
  • Desire to work within a collaborative, fast paced team environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of trust operations is preferred
