Job Description


This position will lead and coordinate Analytical and QC interface aspects of one or more Teva biologics R&D projects as part of the Analytical Sciences & Operations (ASO) department. You will be joining a diverse team of analytical scientists specialized in biologics separations methods, characterization technologies (including mass spectrometry, higher order structure, and solid state analyses) and regulatory filings for clinical and commercial stage programs.


This position reports to the Director of ASO. In addition to core analytical responsibilities, this position will be critical for integrating standardized workflows external to R&D including Teva GMP labs in QC, commercial sites, and CROs/CMOs.



  • Applies extensive scientific/technical expertise and has full knowledge of analytical principles related to biologics methods
  • Develops scientific/technical solutions to cross-functional and cross-site challenges
  • Work is performed independently without appreciable direction
  • Interacts primarily with senior internal staff and with external contacts on scientific/technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Must have demonstrated scientific foundation and abilities to achieve technical project goals


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in scientific field of study such as Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Biology with 7+ years of analytical experience in bio-pharmaceutical industry


  • PhD in scientific field of study with 5+ years of analytical experience in bio-pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in analytical method development and principles
  • Experience with technology transfer to receiving labs
  • Knowledge of QC operations (eg, cell banking, specifications, stability protocols, method transfers and reference standards)
  • Regulatory filing experience
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse functional and cultural customers and counterparts
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
