SUMMARY: The Senior Recruitment Specialist will research, develop and implement effective recruitment and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. This role owns the life cycle of recruitment inclusive of but not limited to; sourcing non-exempt and exempt positions, on-boarding, benefit enrollment and company branding supporting the affirmative action program. Attend off-site and host on-site events in relation to
current and future talent needs while acting as the liaison for third party temporary staffing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
Source and screen candidates for non-exempt and exempt roles.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of hiring and selection materials.
Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process, identifying and understanding the salary ranges, incentives, start dates, while owning the drug test and background process.
Actively manage and own the applicant tracking system and the content within supporting our affirmative action plan.
Conduct interviews using the company structured interview guide to access applicants relevant knowledge, skills and experience.
Act as the point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Promote the company reputation as the Business and Employer of Choice, through social media and other platforms.
Facilitate on-boarding, inclusive on the new hire paperwork and benefit sessions in order to become fully integrated.
Be the third-party temporary agency liaison.
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews, focusing on required core competencies.
Full comprehension of the benefits offered to provide support during on-boarding and throughout team members career.
Ability to travel within the state to attend career fairs and branding events.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Manage and sustain accurate recruitment reporting and relevant market data.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Understand all responsibilities on the HR team.
Support the team as a whole when required, focusing on Team Member Relations and Development.
Be the back-up for the HR Coordinator with daily tasks, if required.

SUPERVISORY SKILLS: No direct reports requires the ability to make independent decisions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Prior human resources recruiting experience, preferably in both the non-exempt and exempt arena.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents and governmental regulations. Ability to responds to common inquiries in writing from employees and regulatory agencies. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees.
