**Job Description Summary**
This position is the for the Senior Program Manager role at GE Aviation's Additive Technology Center. The role is focused on overall program management for the site. The Program Manager will be involved with Project Management / Planning / Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or development project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial / commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, and product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration, schedule, and tollgate process for NPI programs. They will also ensure transparent communication as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests Will demonstrate leadership and work to resolve unforeseen issues while achieving and maintaining business metrics/goals, commitments, project planning and on time delivery to the customer.
Key responsibilities will include:
+ All contract performance related activities, typically tied to a customer site
+ Responsible for adherence to contract requirements, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract
+ Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project. Negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to solve complex issues.
+ Perform contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision
+ Provides effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination
+ Ensure programmatic alignment with production plan and KPIs.
+ Provide support to manager, project team, and customer on assigned contracts
+ Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters
+ Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
+ Work across functions to evaluate proposed short-term and long-term projects
+ Participate in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions
+ Present projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams
+ Holds self and others accountable for delivering efficient, quality products and business results.
+ Navigate complex processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders
+ Own/maintain site funding plan and manage cost by project/program
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Shop Operations, Manufacturing and / or Program Management
+ (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Shop Operations and / or Program Management experience)
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Established project management skills. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to train and motivate and influence others
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan and execute programs.
+ Proven ability to work independently and consistently meet deliverables in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
+ Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
+ Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
+ Experience working in GE Aviation management systems such as Clarity and Spotfire
+ Familiarity with other tools such as Supply Chain Web Center, SPS and CMS
+ Proven analytical and organizational ability
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
