The Senior Product Manager will play an integral role in the strategy, design and development of ADP HCM products. As a Product Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Be a member of the team responsible for the product direction and management of ADP Human Capital Management (HCM) products and services.
  • Provides strategic direction and manages the product roadmap for a suite of HCM products with a focus on the Payroll domains.
  • Acts as the SME for the Payroll domains working closely with the business readiness teams to articulate and define requirements specific to Canada.
  • Balances business needs with technical requirements, and recommends alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed.
  • Provides direction to scrum teams including articulation of requirements, definition of minimum viable product, writing of user stories and backlog management (grooming, prioritization, and refinement)
  • Clearly articulate and document the requirements specific to the Canadian market identifying differences between countries (Canada and US).
  • Drive the creation of business cases to support prioritization of features and requirements.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer, taking a data driven approach to articulate market needs through direct client interaction, market research and interfacing with Sales, Service and Technology teams.
  • Supports product launch activities and ongoing market-facing support.


  • 5+ years of experience
  • Prior experience in Payroll is required
  • Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) certification is strongly preferred
  • Experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) domains considered an asset
  • Experience working with Agile methodology strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams to accomplish product goals
  • Must be capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally
  • Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment necessary
  • Must be a strong collaborator, team player as well as an individual contributor
