Position Summary

The Senior Manager Sampling & Field Credentialing/Licensing Admin (FCL) supports Sampling & FCL functions within Sales Ops for all field/sales based personnel. Managing Sample Accountability for Direct-to-Practitioner sampling programs in conjunction with our third party vendor ensuring compliance to Teva policy, Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), DEA, Federal & State regulations to effectively meet the commercial & field/sales business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The role will also be responsible for supporting the strategy & continued development of a comprehensive FCL program & managing day to day activities of our third party vendor.

-Manage all Sample Accountability and auditing functions for Direct-to-Practitioner sampling programs in conjunction with Sample Vendor

-Monitor Direct-to-Practitioner Sampling programs to ensure PDMA, DEA, State & Federal regulation compliance

-Coordinate Audits of Sampling operational business functions & implementation of corrective measures where necessary

-Manage and coordinate day to day activities for FCL Vendor(s) in support of Tevas sales and field personnel

-Develop & define program strategy and management of the Pharmaceutical Detailer License Programs for all field personnel. Support License Programs for Washington, D.C., Chicago, IL, Nevada, Ohio & compliance to future states/cities/district initiatives.

-Responsible for FDA, State & Federal audit & compliance reporting related to Sampling & FCL programs

-Develop & update required trainings for Tevas processes & policies for Sampling & FCL & manage deployment of training in Tevas Learning Management System. Monitor roll-out & compliance of all training courses 

-Develop & monitor Key Performance Indicators & Service Level Agreements to track Sampling & FCL vendor performance, adherence to statements of work & service levels

-Develop & manage Sampling & FCL SOPs & policy documents, to ensure compliance with PDMA, DEA, State & Federal regulations & Teva policies & procedures

-Identify solutions for Sampling & FCL that support & enhance the capability to track operational efficiencies & effectiveness of programs; drive business process improvements; analyze trends & remediate program gaps & issues

Qualifications

-Required experience:

-Bachelor of Science degree required

-Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical experience required

-Minimum 6 years Sampling Services experience required

 

-Preferred experience:

-Experience in Field Credentialing and Licensing preferred

-Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively with diverse individuals/groups in order to facilitate trust and understanding in business and vendor relationships

-A comprehensive understanding of PDMA, DEA and related federal/state regulations, with general knowledge of cGMP, OIG, FDA and other regulatory requirements

-Demonstrated experience with direct management of external vendors with managing to Service Level Agreements and budgets

-Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations and audits to identify gaps and creative solutions to complex problems and implement quickly and successfully

-Demonstrated ability to drive change and business process improvement

-Demonstrated experience with cross functional team leadership

-Strong organizational, planning/project management and influencing skills

-Detail-orientated with excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Travel expectations:  25% for first year, 10% thereafter
