POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic categories to develop marketing campaigns/tactics that target key customers including hospital & clinic purchasers, payers and Health Care Providers (HCPs) aligned with the overarching brand strategies and objectives. The Sr. Marketing Manager works with internal Teva colleagues, sales/account coworkers and agency partners to develop, maintain and defend product awareness to drive Purchasers/HCPs preference for the brand.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Lead and execute segments of brand promotion on Purchasers/Healthcare Provider (HCP) tactics to drive brand/portfolio performanceHelps manage communication channel activities for brand including personal and non-personal promotion (NPP)
- Plans and develops tactics aligned with predefined strategies and establishes timelines and budgets with minimal oversight
- Works with agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans and provides input on strategy and direction of the brand
- Liaison to internal customer facing partners and extended matrix team to drive brand goals/success
- Manages brand(s) expenses, financials and financial forecasting to achieve defined targets
- Manages the promotional approval process of materials
- Analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions
- Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct
- Manages overall and specific budgets to achieve defined targets
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
- > 5 years of pharmaceutical experience
- > 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Oncology or Biosimilars
- Experience in buy & bill
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen
- Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship
- Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI)
- Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinated projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors
- Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required
- Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work will be conducted in the Home Office environment.
Travel is required to engage with customers, attend medical congress and other business related meetings.
May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
