Role Summary:Provide Human Resources leadership to a non-union GE Aviation manufacturing plant in Terre Haute, IN. Provide insight and guidance to the leadership team to ensure great employee experiences and provide coaching and mentorship to the HR team. This Senior HRM will also be responsible for keeping a pulse on workload, training needs and client satisfaction. Ensure effective, consistent, high-quality HR strategy and process execution.

Essential Responsibilities:











+ Provide day to day leadership and guidance to the site leadership

team and to the HR team



+ Coach HR team to strengthen HR capabilities, reduce complexity and

partner with clients to maximize business performance



+ Deliver HR training and support for functional processes such as EMS,

Salary Planning and New Employee Orientation



+ Support the development and execution of local employee relations



+ Lead change projects and manage other large-scale employee-facing

projects



+ Partner with local leadership to attract, select and retain key talent

within region



+ Ensure employee relations issues are properly identified, reported,

investigated & resolved



+ Coach, council and provide candid, constructive feedback to members of

the site



+ Create and maintain a positive, collaborative and open team environment



+ Develop and implement customized training plans for employees



+ Collaborate with functional HR Business Partners to identify special

projects and initiatives to support development of team



+ Provide site leadership team with an available and responsive

escalation point for resolving sensitive or difficult ER topics or issues



+ Together with HRM, provide support and guidance on:





+ Employee advocacy / Engagement



+ HR policy / Procedure training



+ Employee relations management



+ Performance management



+ Recruitment



+ Compensation



+ and Workplace investigations











Qualifications/Requirements:



+ Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in related area (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience)





+ Minimum 5 years prior HR professional work experience









Desired Characteristics:



+ Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields from an accredited university or college



+ In-depth understanding of HR concepts and principles gained through formal education and substantial work experience





+ Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders





+ Prior experience in Union Relations / Employee Relations





+ Prior experience leading a team of professionals





+ Coaching and leadership assessment experience





+ Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations





+ Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and create a positive, team-oriented culture





+ Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed





+ Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness



+ Capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion





+ Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality



+ Strong problem solving skills; ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment



+ Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements





+ GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program



+ PHR / SPHR certification
