Job Description

The Sr Analyst Strategic Contracting is responsible for assisting in the drafting and execution of Oncology contracts. They will work with internal legal resources, the internal contracting team, and the Oncology Account Management team to execute contracting strategies in order to maximize the value of the Oncology and Biosimilar Brand portfolio.  They are responsible for supporting Market Access and Legal efforts to improve efficiency of contract development and execution.  They will also evaluate contract performance and look for ways to improve contract effectiveness and achieve Brand goals. 

 

Responsibilities required to achieve the positions objectives:

 

  • Work directly with legal support to draft and establish standard language for GPO, IDN contracts and LOCs.
  • Work with Contract Managers, Account Managers and Hospital GPOs, Clinics, IDNs to develop contractual pricing & terms for Oncology products.
  • Review all Account proposals for Best Price and coordinate all related contracting for purchase discount contracts, as assigned.
  • Project and model potential impact of contracting efforts on current and long-term financial operating plans.
  • Closely collaborate with Revenue Optimization and Contract Compliance (ROCC) and Finance teams to ensure the operational and gross-to-net impact is captured for assigned contracts
Qualifications

Education: BS/BA required, MBA or equivalent preferred.

 

Experience Required:

 

  • 3+ years of Brand Pharmaceutical Contracting or equivalent business or legal related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and edit contract legal language and terms.
  • Proven track record of success working effectively in a team-based environment, balancing diverse cross-functional perspectives, complex problem solving, team leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business proposals and to accurately interpret business considerations and impacts.
  • Understanding of U.S. regulations and policies relating to manufacturer contracting.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a strong customer service focus thats well-suited for a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
