Job Description

The Senior Analyst of Field Technology Operations is responsible for maintaining the North American (NA) Veeva SFA environment for all field based customers in the areas of prioritization of business change requests, functional enhancement implementation, configuration and local administration support, assist with software version releases, testing, support digital asset management, documentation, user manuals/guides, communications and training.  This role is also responsible for operational coordination & project management of field iPad/Laptop/iPhone field technology related systems, tools and applications in partnership with the Sales Operations, Sales Training, IT and MCM teams.  


  • Partner with business and IT partners to define Veeva CRM business requirements 
  • Responsible for Veeva CRM and technology based training across all field based users in classroom and e-learning settings to ensure consistent new hire, refresher and advanced training skills
  • Responsible for support of all iPad/Laptop/iPhone field technology related systems, tools and applications in partnership with the Sales Operations, Sales Training, IT and MCM teams
  • Assist Multichannel Marketing team in managing & supporting Veeva Vault Digital Media and Approved Email templates
  • Provide administration support for NA Veeva CRM environments
  • Provide support for Veeva CRM environments including, Test, Training and Production databases, environment updates and version releases
  • Provide Veeva CRM tier 2 help desk support as needed
  • Responsible for Veeva CRM reference materials including user manuals, quick reference guides, FAQs and communications
  • Participation in industry seminars and technology trainings to ensure an efficient and impactful CRM solution


Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. 

Bachelors degree in business-related area, technology or equivalent required


  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical experience
  • Minimum 2 years Veeva CRM experience
  • Knowledge of Veeva Vault and other Veeva capabilities experience preferred, not required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office - Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse individuals/groups in order to facilitate trust and understanding in business and vendor relationships
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business requirements and turn into functional capabilities
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent team player and works effectively in a multi task environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, cGMP, PDMA and Governmental regulations

Approximately 5-10% of domestic travel throughout US


Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, face masks etc.).
