What you will do

In this vital role you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, enhancing, and implementing a high-quality management development training curricula and program. The Senior Manager will assist with the Global Leadership Development Program (LDP), which is a blended curriculum that targets the Field Sales Manager Leadership Competencies worldwide and includes tailored Career Development Plans (CDP). In addition, the Senior Manager will assist with the global roll out of the global Field Leadership Program (FLA) and Situational Leadership. The Senior Manager works directly with Field Sales Management including Sales NSDs, Regional Sales Directors (RSDs), and District Managers to develop and deliver a robust curriculum for training of aspiring leaders and current leaders and their development against the Field Manager competencies. The Senior Manager partners with Senior Sales Leadership to outline projects and activities to enable them to demonstrate progress and command of the Field Manager Leadership Competencies. This role involves significant collaboration with the Leadership Development Team and global partners, with other training resources, and sales and marketing customers to achieve overall goals. Additional responsibilities include partnering with Senior Leaders to develop and deliver coaching curriculum and any other additional ad hoc training required.

Travel expectations (domestic and global): approximately 10%; this position can be performed remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales and/or training & development experience

Or

Master's degree and 4 years of sales and/or training & development experience

Or

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of sales and/or training & development experience

Or

Associate's degree and 10 years sales and/or training & development experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of sales and/or training & development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • District Manager experience
  • 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: pharma/biotech sales, hospital systems account management and/or training & development
  • Account management and/or sales management experience
  • Track record of success, demonstrate good team member and leadership qualities, and excellent matrix management skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, creative problem solving and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to oversee complex projects and manage time, resources and cross functional teams
  • Strong internal project management skills and ability to manage remote relationships
