Better starts and ends with the customer

Well be looking for you to approach and liaise with business prospects (small and medium-sized companies) on behalf of Western Union to attract and maintain new clients for our Business-to-Business division. You will influence everyone from the owner of a start-up to the finance director or chief executive officer of a large, established corporation. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, cold calling and participation in telemarketing activities and initiatives to prospective clients as well as research and analyze clients business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS) can meet client needs. You will establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that encompass the clients entire international payment needs and Forex solutions, establishing WUBS as the primary provider. By using consultative selling techniques, you will need to understand the challenges that our prospects face when trading overseas, be able to provide bespoke solutions, and progress toward securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships. You will manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales and pipeline reports and competitor information.

For this fast-paced role, you will need to be ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition. Youll be financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns and must be able to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment consistently achieving or exceeding targets. Youll also need to be comfortable with cold calling as well as be adept at executive corporate level negotiations and building long-term client relationships. For this, youll need to possess excellent communication skills with a deep understanding of consultative sales principles. Solid experience in the Financial Services Industry, especially in the FX market is required. A fluent level in German and English languages is required to be successful in this role.

However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 50,000 gross per year for this position. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
