We are looking for a talented Sales/Applications Engineer who will be responsible for providing sales proposals to customers and providing technical application support throughout the sales process. In this position, you will also responsible for working with customers and ensuring that deliverables are within scope.


Main Responsibilities Include


Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and requirements

  • Review customer requirements for proposal preparation.

  • Provide test solutions to meet customers needs

  • Establish a sales proposal¬†

Ensure all sales orders are setup and launched 

  • Deliver sales results that meet and or exceed sales goals established by management

  • Provide Engineering and Operations with maximum opportunity for success

Manage customers expectations and work with customers, engineering, operations, and project management 

  • Achieve successful acceptance and high customer satisfaction

Monitor and report on competitive activity and provide sales and marketing feedback on customer and industry direction

  • Remain alert for sales opportunities relevant to new areas and other LINK businesses¬†


  • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)

  • 3+ years of professional experience in related field

  • Knowledge of test instrumentation (LVDT, strain gauges, microphones, accelerometers, etc.)

  • Knowledge of servo electric, pneumatic and servo hydraulic actuators and control

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Available for international travel 1-2 times per year

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Customer and Personal Service¬† Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Engineering and Technology Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, and procedures for technical component and system testing services.

  • Data analysis and problem solving with strong attention to technical details

  • Able to work effectively with diverse cultures and cross functional teams
