What Reconstruction Does:

  • Develop high-quality K-12 curriculum, designed by a diverse group of educators with deep expertise in curricular design, Black culture and experiences.
  • Facilitate small online group learning, led by outstanding instructors, content specialists, artists, and other charismatic leaders.
  • Build a unique platform that enables our outstanding instructors, eager students, and world-class curriculum to interact.
  • Partner with school districts, charter networks, community organizations and families to deliver this one-of-a kind, world class curriculum.

What Youll Do:

Reconstructions Sales Account Rep serves to expand our K-12 customer base and support overall customer satisfaction. You will serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective customers seeking to partner with us, leveraging our learning platform.

Sales Account Rep will:

  • Be an integral part of the Reconstruction Sales Team
  • Generate sales revenue to meet our quarterly and annual goals
  • Strategize with the sales team to design a plan to meet and exceed revenue targets and customer satisfaction for renewals
  • Research, identify, and act on new business leads and opportunities in a timely manner
  • Prepare sales proposals for prospective partners
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing partners
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure all prospective and current customers are provided with high quality support
  • Have a deep understanding of and pride for Reconstructions services and be able to clearly articulate them to others
  • Seek ways to improve the overall sales process and stay abreast of industry developments in order to apply best practices
  • Maintain records and lead tracking in the customer relationship management system

We are looking for a Sales Account Rep who has:

  • Ability to quickly build and maintain relationships
  • Proven experience as a K-12 leader and/or K-12 account executive is a must
  • Tenacity and comfort in opening and closing business with C-level and school administrators
  • Experience with design and implementation of a business development strategy
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • Committed to providing an unparalleled customer experience

Technology Requirements

The Sales Account Rep will need a personal telephone and reliable internet connection speed that will support remote work.
