Job Summary | This position is located in Hazard, KY. The research coordinator position for the University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health (UK CERH) will serve as a project coordinator for various UK CERH projects and other UK partners about community health needs, enhancing community research engagement and capacity building, and other projects as assigned. Duties include: assist the UK CERH and other UK investigators with study implementation as needed including facilitating research cultural congruence and assisting with participant recruitment, consent, and data collection; assist PIs with the coordination of study measures in the community as outlined in grant protocols; collect and maintain accurate study participant data through data collection/management tools used by the study team including individuals, faculty, and other study personnel; assist with the coordination and logistics of research participation and advisory board meetings, community meetings, etc.; and assist with the coordination and establishment of partnerships between UK researchers and community members and organizations.
