Texas Health Frisco is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) to work full time in the Emergency Department
Texas Health Frisco is located at 12400 Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033
Salary Range: $26.50 - $50.82/hour, commensurate with working experience
Work Schedule: Full-time; 36 hrs/week; 3 PM - 3 AM, every other weekend required

The essential job duties of this position are:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
assesses the patient
plans the care of the patient
intervenes as appropriate
evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Associate degree in Nursing required;
BSN preferred. Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required
EXPERIENCE:
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required; Three (3) or more years' current experience as an Emergency RN is strongly preferred.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
BCLS upon hire - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred
ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- upon hire- expiration date greater than 3 months preferred
PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- upon hire
TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required
CPI within 60 days of hire
