POSITION SUMMARY
- A non-exempt position responsible for providing pacemaker and internal defibrillator interrogations on patients in the clinic or with at home with telephone devices. Assesses information collected. Makes adjustments to the devices with consultation and orders from the provider.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
  - CPR certification required within orientation period
  - ACLS certification required within orientation period
- Educational Requirements
  - RN program as evidenced by licensure
  - On-the-job training and attendance at pacemaker and internal defibrillator workshops
- Experience Requirements
  - 2 years of experience as cardiac monitoring or cardiology nurse preferred
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Requires travel to satellites
  - Computer use
