Keystone Autism Services is seeking Residential Community Support Professional II's to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

The Residential Community Support Professional II exists to teach, coach and support individuals with autism so that they may have opportunities for growth, meaningful life choices, and become valued and contributing members of their communities. This person acts as an effective role model to support and assist individuals to have everyday lives: to meet new people, develop friendships, find and maintain employment, exercise choice, maintain activities of daily living and accomplish personal goals. This position is clinically oriented and will assist in implementing objectives consistent with Individualized Support Plans, skill development and evaluating and monitoring progress of determined goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • One of the following:

    • Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, sociology, education or similar human services field

    • Bachelors degree in an unrelated field with the equivalent of at least one year of full-time work experience in a position that involved direct support of adults and/or adolescents

    • Current employee with at least one year of employment with Keystone Autism Services, high school diploma or equivalent and five years of full-time work experience, or equivalent, in a position that involved direct support

  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ability to learn other software as needed

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid drivers license and daily access to a properly insured vehicle

  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including criminal record check and MVR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work or internship experience in the humans services field or related field

  • Experience working with individuals with autism
