Physical Requirements

Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time; performing repetitive motions tasks; lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 10 lbs.; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, and hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste.


Monday-Friday 8:00 5:00PM. Occasional weekends when necessary.

Job Summary

Position will be employed in laboratory/experimental studies related to biofuels and environmental catalysis.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Leads specific studies or aspects of studies related to processing chemicals and materials, including determination of chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships and reactions.
- Confers with scientists and engineers to conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
- Analyzes test information and data.
- Guides the work of peers, technicians or other support staff in preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory tests and analysis.
