Physical Requirements | This position requires study coordination and interaction with research participants. Technical skills such as phlebotomy are preferred. Processing of blood, light lifting of packages, use of dry ice for packaging may be required. |

Job Summary | The Center for Clinical and Translational Science is looking to recruit a Research Associate Clinical I to join our growing team. This position will support the ethical and efficient conduct of clinical research. Primary duties will include: managing, planning, organizing and implementing the research process of clinical trial study coordination for grant funded studies. Position will conduct studies with research participants to support principal investigator and other research personnel during research visits. The Research Associate will be required to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload and will be required to ensure all trials are conducted and completed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines from pre-study to close-out. Activities require strict adherence to all applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements related to human subjects research and clinical research, as well as excellent customer service. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Knowledge of regulatory requirements for human subjects research, knowledge of clinical research, Microsoft Office, facility with Web-based reporting software. Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Bachelor’s of Science or Bachelor’s in health related field preferred, 5 years of experience. SOCRA, CRA, CRC certification preferred. |
