Role Summary:As Release Management Specialist, you will own the Release Management ITIL-like process focusing on the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Field Modification Instruction (FMI) activities. The NPI and FMI are for resolving GEHC Digital products, configuration, and application issues/questions in use by customers. You will therefore support the service org. readiness of the Service team (including 3rd party actors) where required.

Essential Responsibilities:In this role:

Contribute to the overall success of the business where quality and efficiency are the drivers of a sustainable growth

Champion the Release Management process within Europe as set

Support the NPI process particularly the GR (General Release/Early Adopter) and GA (General Availability) by collaborating with Global teams, by maintaining and communicating release status to the Services team, by supporting internal & external audits on the NPI process

Support the FMI process in collaboration with Global and QA/RA teams by reviewing FMI letters/notifications, by generating list of impacted customers, by notifying FMI status to the Service team, by tracking FMI deployment, by reporting FMI closure status, by supporting internal & external audits on the FMI process

Contribute to the service org. readiness by organizing, prior to release/deployment of a product into the field, the Early Readiness Training (ERT) to the Services teams and the service documentations readiness (e.g. Customer Release Notes, Service Installation/Upgrade Manuals, etc.)

May also provide cross-product technical, architectural and functional support towards complex customer solution design, implementation and testing

Ensure customers success by fostering a balanced relationship that benefits both GEHC and the customer with the goal of producing the highest level of customer support and satisfaction

May be through a customer dedicated support contract or part of a team and be an escalation point for secondary support for Release Management aspects

Qualifications/Requirements: Good understanding of best practices of end-to-end customer service covering people, process and technology; able to understand the bigger picture

Demonstrable experience in working on Release Management as described re core information development processes: content planning, content creation, content review

Strong skills in the process of breaking down software processes into tasks necessary to the targeted user and effectively explaining those tasks to the user Effective communication and reporting skills

Analytical; ability to anticipate issues and identify proactive decision needs and improvement opportunities

Pro-actively keep up to date with internal and external environment and anticipate impact of any changes

Experience of monitoring and achieving performance targets

Must have strong operational discipline and strong organizational capability, capacity to work in full autonomy and able to adapt and succeed in an environment of rapid change and ambiguity

Demonstrates a passion for work and for continual learning. Persistently seeks to accomplish challenges and approaches difficult situations with optimism

Hands on experience in similar role

Language: English fluent at professional proficiency level, other additional EU language ideally (FR, SP, IT, GE)
