Region Sales Leader, China and East Asia Pacific

Role Summary:Grid Solutions (GS) is a $5B revenues business employing 16,000 employees across the globe. The China and East Asia Pacific (CEAP) region has a workforce of 1500 employees, based in countries including Singapore, China, Australia. The CEAP Region Sales Leader is a key position in the GS Commercial Leadership team reporting to the GS Chief Commercial Officer and responsible for the CEAP region sales strategy and owns the life-cycle customer experience

Essential Responsibilities:Accountable for three main metrics: cash in the form of down-payment volume on Orders and

Past Due reductions, deals profitability and Orders volume.

Lead 100 direct employees, delivering Orders of $750MM.

Demonstrate accountability for customer, functional, business, and company objectives. He/she will integrate and drive processes that meet business and customer needs across the organization, manage complex issues, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Establish the CEAP vision and profitable growth strategy for the region, considering understanding market trends, dynamics and opportunities for growth

Build strong relationships with customers and key decision makers ensuring customer satisfaction.

Deliver the financial and operational performance for the region, including order intake, profitability (CM and OP profit), cash, base cost in accordance to set targets

Drive horizontal leadership and proactively support all the GS Product Lines.

Build a diverse, high performing, collaborative team with a common vision who consistently delivers results.

Ensure appropriate organization culture, driving the right behaviors in line with GE values.

Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, employee safety practices, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college

Significant experience in a senior leadership P&L and Sales role

Deep knowledge and experience of both commercial & operations within the Grid business

Customer focused and strong relationship building skills

Sound business acumen and track record of delivering results

Strong leadership skills including managing a regionally dispersed team

High energy with the ability to inspire and motivate others

Strong communication skills and executive presence

Ability to influence in a matrix and drive change

Clear thinking and sound decision-making skills

High resilience and able to cope under pressure

Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Demonstrated acceptance and adherence to high ethical, moral and personal values
