Project leader opportunity in Sustaining DUV RS. The platforms included in sustaining RS are all the XT and NXT machines up to and including NXT3. This role requires project management, execution, and reporting for the development and qualification of new or existing technologies within D&E; Wilton. It also requires balancing quality, cost, and on-time delivery in support of ASML business interests, customers and system engineering. The PL in this role must work closely with the PDM to make priority assessments of air issues and then execute to an agreed plan. The main tasks in this role include air issue resolution and customer escalation

support.

## **Job Description**

Plan and Prioritize


* Creates and uses detailed team plan (deliverables, who, when)


* Manages field and factory escalations including communication with internal and external customers as needed


* Balances priority of escalations with other deliverables to ensure both are satisfactorily covered


* Defines deliverables for engineers


* Communicates upward and downward on regular basis


* Holds regular meetings to provide information, identify interdependencies, secure cross-sector alignment and agreements


* Manage project structure


* Monitors progress and provides support as needed


* Sets up a team structure that reflects the work content of WBS


* Installs efficient meeting rhythm, ensuring team is at right information level and interdependencies are identified and managed


* Understands proper escalation paths and acts accordingly


* Delegate tasks and follow up


* Allocates work and appoints owners to logical "buckets" of deliverables in line with team structure


* Checks if deliverables are finalized on time and in budget - intervenes where needed


* Manage system interdependencies


* Understands how own sub module links to the total module


* Properly manages impact of changes of own sub module on whole module


* Relevant knowledge in one discipline (mono or multi): could solve problems within this discipline himself


* Limited knowledge outside own discipline but a strong ability to learn


* Manage risks and customer requirements


* Is able to assess and address technical risk based on input from architects and design engineers


* Is able to understand operational risks within own scope


* Responds to requests for changes with impact assessment and secures program agreements before accepting changes


* Understanding ASML WOW and management principles desirable

## **Education**

B.S. Engineering minimum or equivalent experience

* Knowledge of Mechatronics or Precision Mechanics preferred

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal


* Ability to make decisions and “lead” the multi-disciplined team, not just manage the workload
