Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and executing project and business development work related to research and targeted support to federal, state, county, and local leaders interested in transforming human service systems.

What Were Looking For

Were looking for a detail-oriented person who enjoys working as part of a team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and can assist with the development of project scope, deliverables, and timelines, and ensure work is being done consistently and effectively, working on several projects simultaneously and managing priorities among tasks. Additional qualities include: an interest in health and human service policy or service systems; developing positive, trusting, and engaging relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders; and and the ability to listen to and contribute to a sharing of diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables, and assist with data collection
  • Lead and assist with the coordination of large and cross-functional team meetings, involving staff and clients
  • Ensure that goals and actions are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by monitoring and measuring the projects performance as needed
  • Assist with project development activities, such as compiling data, preparing ad hoc reports and presentations, and assisting with special projects
  • Monitor and track documents and resources, and maintain records in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure projects and team members have the tools, equipment, and information necessary to accomplish tasks
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and disseminate project communication tools (e.g., agenda, minutes, action items, schedules) as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent with 3-5 years work experience
  • Proficient knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software, including applications and programming
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management tools and standards
  • Ability to effectively coordinate activities within projects
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgement
  • Ability to effectively work in a team-driven environment.
  • Strong meeting management skills
  • Experience in problem-solving and the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient interpersonal communications
  • Must be a self-sufficient self-starter able to learn quickly and know when to ask questions


Hours:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
