Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center is seeking qualified candidates for a Linux system administrator (Programmer Systems Senior) to support a variety of cancer research activities. Our team develops and supports informatics applications used for population-based electronic cancer surveillance, database management systems, and electronic medical records (EMR) data capture in an open source Linux environment. A Programmer Systems Senior is needed to configure, maintain, and secure advanced computing systems. These computing systems support Informatics research in machine learning and artificial intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in support for computationally intensive and cutting-edge cancer research. This position will have a flexible work arrangement.
